The polypropylene screw cap is 53mm in diameter, has a flat top, easy-grip larger knurled edge, deep thread and a seal ring to prevent leaks. Can be used to stain slides in a microwave oven if cap is left loosely attached to the jar. Internal slots hold up to 10 standard 1"x3" slides back to back. Autoclavable at 121^oC. Remove cap when autoclaving.
