The LBP310
laboratory microwave oven is a time and power level based microwave that incorporates the exclusive True-To-PowerTM
power control system. This power control system allows the user to set the true power level to any value. This control is NOT achieved by on and off cycling, like household microwave ovens, but by truly changing the power level. A level of power between 20W and 1000W can be obtained with the True-To-Power
TM
power control system. This level of power control is rare in microwave ovens in this price range but is usually found in ovens costing thousands of dollars more. The LBP310 is ideal for small samples or for critical processes that may become damaged by microwave ovens using on and off pulsing as a means of power control.
The LBP310 is compact and all electronics and other sensitive components are corrosion resistant. Corrosion resistance makes this microwave a good choice for digestion, extraction, ashing or other heating
applications of corrosive or harsh materials. The microwave cavity and housing are stainless steel and there is a high volume fan that pulls fresh air into the microwave cavity and then sweeps the fumes into a ducted
exhaust plenum that can be connected directly into your fume hood system, preventing the build-up of fumes in the cavity. While it is impossible to eliminate the corrosion that occurs during chemical processing, our
corrosion resistant treatment generally extends the life of the microwave 10 times longer or more, depending on the corrosive agent used. The LBP310 is a great choice for many analytical chemical or general laboratory
