About Ladd Ovens: Our ovens are designed to meet the laboratory needs of industry, research organizations and schools. Our ovens are versatile and are used for drying, baking, sterilizing, evaporating, heat treating, annealing and testing.

The cabinets are as attractive as they are durable. Exteriors are painted light gray and have a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish. Doors open with high impact thermoplastic handles. Cabinets have heavy steel double-wall construction. Work space is insulated from the outer cabinet with one inch of high density mineral wool, and interiors are made of corrosive-resistant aluminized steel.

Only UL and CSA recognized components are used in all ovens. The control panel is equipped with an illuminated ON-OFF rocker switch and a heat/cycle pilot light. Temperature is controlled by an automatic hydraulic or bi-metal thermostat.  Energy efficient, low-watt density Incoloy^® sheathed elements are engineered into a compact design for quick run-up and recovery times. Temperature uniformity is greatly improved by a perforated heat shield which absorbs radiant heat and distributes it more evenly. Models have a temperature range up to 225°C.

Vacuum Oven - Radiant warm wall heaters provide uniform heating. Temperature is controlled by a hydraulic thermostat and is displayed by a dial thermometer in the oven chamber. Vacuum levels are precisely controlled between 2 and 30" Hg. Includes built-in high limit thermostat, positive latch door with floating tempered glass window, silicone door gasket and circuit breaker. Convenient front-mounted three-way valve and 1/4" vacuum line fittings.
One-piece shelf assembly has two solid aluminum shelves. Assembly is removable for cleaning of the stainless steel chamber. The 3" insulation prevents heat loss. Powder coated exterior. Operating temperature to 428^oF.
