This new microwave uses time and temperature for controlling the heating process for staining cells, immunochemistry or antigen retrieval. This gives consistent processing day after day. "Hot Spots" virtually eliminated with the use of mode stirring technology. The microwave turns on and off to maintain a user set temperature profile programmed into the controller. This microwave reads the sample temperature and adds or reduces the microwaves as needed to maintain the programmed temperature profile. The standard thermocouple is a type "K" and is field replaceable. There is a powered cavity exhaust to remove any obnoxious fumes meeting the most recent CAP Anatomic Pathology Checklist requirements for laboratory microwaves when properly installed and maintained.

Applications
This oven is primarily for the life science processes of cell staining, immunochemistry, antigen retrieval or other post cell preparation processes. This microwave can also be used for general laboratory work where temperature control is needed. This is not intended for samples that are dry or small volumes of reagents.
