Ladd Insect Traps were designed to provide the home and commercial fruit grower with the ability to monitor populations of four of the most injurious pests of apples. We provide all materials and information necessary to monitor or trap-out your trees for apple maggot fly, and monitor codling moth, obliquebanded leafroller and plum curculio throughout the entire growing season. Our kits have the following features:

Identify your insect problem before costly, random and often unnecessary application of toxic insecticides. You spray only when it is necessary. Commercial growers can monitor the effectiveness of their current spraying methods, or determine if insect pests are migrating into their orchard.

 
Please Note!! Ladd Apple Maggot Fly Traps can also be used to completely trap out apple maggot flies.

Contain scientifically designed time-release lures to specifically trap target pests only. Thus, beneficial insects are not affected.

Contain no toxic insecticides.

Include information sheet for each insect explaining their biology and life cycle. Illustrated with color photographs of each insect and the damage they cause.

Ladd traps are reusable. You need only replace spent lures and, occasionally, adhesive. This further reduces pest management costs in future seasons .
