HEALTH HAZARD DATA

Principal Routes of Entry: Inhalation, skin and eye contact.

Inhalation: CNS depressant. Nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea,

                        headache, possible unconsciousness, asphyxiation.

Skin and Eye Contact: Irritation. Possibly corneal injury.

Other: Gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting. Chronic overexposure can raise the level of

                        carbon monoxide in the blood.


 

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID

Skin or Eye: Thoroughly wash exposed skin with soap and water. Flush eyes with copious

                        amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Support respiration if necessary. Keep victim warm and

                        quiet. Obtain medical attention. DO NOT give stimulants.

Other: Adrenaline should never be given to a person overexposed to this chemical.

Stability: Stable

Conditions to Avoid: Avoid contact with open flame, electric arcs or other hot surfaces.

Incompatibility: Avoid contact with aluminum, strong alkalies, oxygen, nitrogen peroxides,
