Attaches to our Right Angle Holder for the Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw I. This product includes a Right Angle Holder and a Bone Chuck for Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw I.
Includes: one 3" x 0.006" diamond wheel, one 4" x 0.012" diamond wheel, one 4" x 0.015" aluminum oxide wheel, one 3" x 0.010" silicon carbide wheel, one 1.87" support collar, one 1.37" support collar, one quart coolant, four dressing sticks, two spare drive belts, quick stick wax and quartz sticky wax.
A plexiglass table which mounts on top of the Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw I reservoir. It has a slot through which the blade passes and creates a flat surface that can be used as a guide in hand feeding a sample into the blade.
Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw for Wheels up to 7" Diameter
The Model L660 is designed to be a multipurpose precision saw using diamond wheels up to 7" in diameter. Its' low speed allows it to cut all materials traditionally cut with a high speed diamond wheel while also cutting very fragile and soft materials with minimal subsurface damage. A variety of sample holders provides a means to mount any shape sample while goniometer adaptability simplifies the cutting of orienting crystals.
Features:
An internal optic sensor and belt drive system eliminate broken gears and sample damage by terminating the cutting process when wheel rotation is impeded. Coolant reservoir is lowered and easily removed by opening an access door located on the front panel.
Note!! Need help deciding which wheels will work for you? See the attachments below for answers to this and other questions you may have concerning our Wheel Saws.
To ensure efficient performance from a diamond wheel, it is imperative that the wheel is dressed on a regular basis to expose new diamonds for cutting.
Designed to mount the 2-axis goniometer for the Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw I onto a 1.99" or 2.19" wide x-ray or optical track for crystal orientation.

Eyelash with Handle - A selected pig's eyelash is attached to a length of hexagonal aluminum rod correctly proportioned for positioning microtomed sections floating in boat waiting to be picked up on a grid or with a loop. Eyelash may be cleaned repeatedly with alcohol. Has long life if handled with care.
Designed specifically for wedge polishing of TEM specimens. the mount consists of a small aluminum clamping mechanism and 5 Pyrex rods which slide into the center of the clamp and are held in place when the L-bracket is tightened. Not included with the purchase of the BiPod Polisher.
The Model L650 Low Speed Diamond Wheel Saw is a compact, multipurpose, precision saw designed to cut a wide variety of materials with minimal subsurface damage. Its' low speed makes it possible to cut fragile materials that would otherwise fracture and soft materials that would load the diamond wheel on a higher speed saw. A variety of sample holders provides a means for mounting any shape sample while goniometer adaptability simplifies cutting oriented crystals.
Features:
- Belt drive system eliminates gear breakage which is common with less reliable fiber gear driven designs. - Coolant reservoir is lowered and easily removed by opening an access door on the front panel. - Both coarse and fine sample position adjustment.
