10845 - Hydrophilic Support Film

This coated grid, supported on a very wide open Lacy film on any grid, is invisible in the electron microscope for specimens of 30nm or larger. Please indicate grid, mesh and metal desired.

Lacy Film

This thin carbon coated Formvar film has a wide variation of hole sizes and shapes, thereby forming a lace-like network. It is invaluable for high resolution electron microscopy since specimen material bridging the holes can be studied and photographed without substrate interference. Note!! This product is used primarily as a substrate. For a perforated film used for checking astigmatism in the TEM please see our Holey Film. Package of 10. Please state grid diameter and metal desired.
