The lightweight Model L900 8" Grinder/Polisher is ideal for surface preparation of small metallographic specimens. The Model L900 is a variable speed unit with an operating range of 0-1725 rpm. This flexibility allows for high speed rough grinding and low speed final polishing.

Come in three different diameters. These molds are made from a special blue-colored silicone rubber. When hardened, these discs are easily removed from the mold by flexing it slightly. Can be baked up to a temperature of 204 degrees Celsius.

Produces pyramid-tip blocks, which are of great assistance where orientation of specimen material is difficult. The blocks are readily attached to a standard plastic cylinder (No. 21830) with cyanoacrylate glue (SuperGlue). Makes thirty blocks 5 mm high on a 6 mm square base. Tip same as 00 BEEM capsule. Can be baked up to a temperature of 204 degrees Celsius. Package of 3 molds.

Safely organize and store specimen blocks with this new Speciman Storage System. These modules incorporate an innovation that allows blocks to snap into cavities specially designed to retain them so they cannot be inadvertently dislodged. Each module has an adhesive backing which, when exposed, permits it to be permanently mounted on any grease-free surface. BlockLocks can be inserted into a protective box (sku: 21622 - 21625) or, by utilizing the adhesive feature, mounted in combination with other BlockLock modules on the mounting panel (sku: 21626).
