Hummer 6.2 Sputter Coater with 2 stage pump
The Ladd / Hummer™ 6.2 performs sputter coating, a cold process in which ions impacting a metal source dislodge metal atoms. The atoms disperse throughout the process chamber to uniformly coat irregularly shaped specimens without thermal damage. Sputter coating produces high quality coatings whose thickness is repeatable and easily controlled. Cold, fast sputter rates require less time, giving you more time for microscope examinations.
The Carbon Evaporation Accessory and the Digital Thickness Monitors must be ordered at the same time as the sputter coater and are only available for newly purchased sputter coaters.
Please Note!! The SC6.2TR comes with a 6 inch diameter chamber and with a tilting rotary stage already installed. The chamber for all other 6.2 models has a 4" diameter.

High Heat Desiccator Plates
These desiccator plates are able to withstand temperatures up to 150o C, have excellent resistance to thermal shock, are non-combustible, asbestos free, stable and chemical resistant. The circular plates are perforated with 6mm diameter holes on 25mm centers in a straight line pattern. They are available in 3 diameters which fit catalog numbers 80929A, 80929 and 80929C in addition to other plastic desiccators of similar size.
All are 4.8mm thick.

32155 - Dry-Keeper Desiccator Cabinet with Gas Ports
This desiccator cabinet is ideal for creating a carbon dioxide atmosphere for tissue culture processing or flushing with nitrogen to create an anaerobic environment. Two gas ports allow the cabinet atmosphere to be rapidly and effectively flushed. The gas port stopcocks are 4mm diameter and accept 6mm (1/4") tubing. The door seals against a foam rubber gasket and is held closed with two roller latches. The open door glides underneath the cabinet to maintain the cabinet's small footprint. Dimensions: 8 1/4" x 7" x 5". Door opening 7 1/2" x 4 3/8". A jar of silica gel desiccant is included. Ideal for use with Scienceware® desiccant cartridges or canisters. Translucent polystyrene cabinets allow viewing of contents from any angle.

32156 - Dry-Keeper Smoke-Tinted Stacking Desiccator Cabinet
The door is sealed closed with a roll latch. When the downward pivoting door is opened, it stores in a space underneath the cabinet. The door opening is 23 x 20cm (9 x 8"); inside depth is 23cm (9"). A small tray that fits under the bottom shelf holds the desiccant. Transparent polystyrene cabinet with smoke tinting to help protect light sensitive contents.
