LXSR is a new line of single crystal scintillators offering advantages over YAP and YAG for use in most electron beam instruments. They are custom made in the USA to order with a 2-4 week lead time. LXSR has a very good radiation hardness leading to long life time.
The standard thickness for LXSR will be 1 mm; however, other thicknesses can be made. Thinner material will avoid internal absorption and yield greater light output. The polished face is coated with a thin layer of aluminum and the back has a matte finish unless otherwise requested.
