The fine mesh hexagonal series offers a very high transmission value with the additional support of a hexagonal pattern. They offer an alternative to the standard hexagonal mesh grids for use in applications where it is important that the maximum area of specimen is available for viewing in the microscope. These grids have an extra thin bar width! See Below. We are pleased to introduce a new line of sub micron apertures. Manufacture of apertures less than 1 micron in diameter is made possible by the development of composite apertures consisting of a molybdenum (Mo) support with a thin sheet of platinum (Pt) foil fused to the surface. The sturdy Mo support contains a visible counterbore to simplify locating the very small aperture hole. Please call us for details.
