Dektol - Powder to make 1 gallon.

Available in several depression dimensions. These molds, made from a special blue-colored silicone rubber, produce flat blocks almost completely trimmed, ready for microtomy. Orientation of specimen material during embedding is easy because the block is flat, and the amount of resin used is small. When hardened, these pre-numbered blocks are easily removed from the mold by flexing it slightly. Flat blocks can be used with most ultra-microtomes. Can be baked up to a temperature of 204 degrees Celsius.

Embedding resin based on Araldite.

Stainless steel, straight-line forceps with slender needle-like points have overall length of 127 mm. Narrow serrated jaws are 25.4 mm long. Invaluable for transfer of tissue from one location to another. Handle has three firm clamping positions.

For handling AMRAY 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600 series, Ultra-Scan, Cambridge, Cameca, ETEC, Philips, Zeiss, Semco and Bausch and Lomb specimen mounts. Minimum gripping diameter 3.2 mm.

For handling Cambridge, Cameca, ETEC, Philips, Zeiss, Semco, Bausch and Lomb, Hitachi HHS-2R and JEOL specimen mounts. Minimum gripping diameter 9.5 mm.

For applications where maximum viewing area of sample is important. Grid open area of 200 mesh Thin Bar Grid is approximately 40% greater than with a standard 200 mesh grid.
