Stage Micrometer with Micro-Coverglass, 2 mm Scale: For use with transmitted light. Scale is 2 mm long, divided into 200 equal parts.
These measuring standards may be used with all microscopes. The micrometer scale disc is mounted on a black anodized slide 3" x 1". The primary use for these micrometers is calibration of eyepiece reticles. The majority of microscopes are corrected to permit examination of specimens through a micro-coverglass by transmitted light and all stage micrometers are available in this form.
