Utilizes a single-step casting procedure in which stained, fixed tissue sections are epoxy-embedded within special silicone rubber mold to produce three 76 mm x 25.4 mm x 2.2 mm epoxy microscope slides. Once epoxy cures, simply flex mold to release epoxy slides for viewing by light microscopy or for photomicrography. Areas of interest may then be removed and prepared for thin or semi-thin sectioning.
