This unit has provided excellent results in all types of evaporators throughout the electron microscopy community for many years. A combination of ball-bearing motion in the chuck, gravity and long-arc spring-feed give uniform pressure that ensures a smooth, uniform advance of the carbon rod. This smooth motion allows use of a lower current, with a consequent reduction of radiant heat. Designed to hold 1/8" diameter carbon rods. Includes one package of 10 rods.

Made of 1/4" thick Plexiglas with flat top to fit over any 12" x 12" or smaller bell jar. Protects bell jar from accidental damage and protects operator. Total area under bell jar remains visible.

A new economical Quartz Crystal Monitor (QCM) for measuring thin film deposition rate and thickness. This film thickness transducer is the simplest and least expensive QCM available anywhere. It connects directly to a USB port on your PC. Windows® - based software included for operation and data logging. It weighs less than 2 ounces and is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket.
