Bench Top LADD Vacuum Evaporator with Turbo Pump
Starting at: Call For Price
We have decided to discontinue the manufacture of all Ladd Vacuum Evaporators. However, we will continue to sell most parts and accessories for them. Please call us at (802) 658-4961 if you require a part or if you have any questions.
Key advantages of a turbo pump over a diffusion pump:
1. Quicker pump down. From a cold start to high vacuum
in less than 3 minutes.
2. Cleaner system - No oil vapors.
3. Better, faster vacuum.
4. Air cooled. Water is not required for cooling a turbo pump.

Learn MoreTungsten / Alumina Crucibles
Starting at: $50.95
The alumina ceramic coated tungsten evaporation basket is an internally heated crucible that is designed to provide the means for vacuum evaporation of a number of various metals, and at the same time provide a more useful crucible life with these type metals.
Providing strongly upward evaporation in the deposition profile, these tungsten/alumina crucibles maintain molten metal evaporants as an induction propelled spinning ball inside the cavity. Most materials can be completely evaporated without loss to the chamber. Recommended evaporant materials are nickel, iron, or their alloys, as well as a broad range of other metals, such as gold, tin, indium and silver. Other materials which can be evaporated include antimony, bismuth, cadmium, cobalt, copper, lead, manganese, palladium, zinc and alloys such as nichrome and permalloy.
Please view the table at the bottom of this page for technical specifications for each tungsten / alumina crucible.
