Adapter Rings: Black anodized aluminum rings of external diameters to fit the tubes of most eyepieces, with internal recess for one of the two standard reticle sizes. The rings may be fixed in the tube, cemented to the reticle, or used loose to permit easy cleaning. The field of view of the eyepiece is not normally impaired by these adapters.

Stage Micrometer with Coverglass: Of great value when using transmitted light. Has micro-coverglass over the image. Overall length of scale is 1 mm, divided into 100 equal parts. These measuring standards may be used with all microscopes.
The micrometer scale disc is mounted on a black anodized slide 3" x 1". The primary use for these micrometers is calibration of eyepiece reticles. The majority of microscopes are corrected to permit examination of specimens through a micro-coverglass by transmitted light and all stage micrometers are available in this form.
